Summer Streets

calendar_month

Jul 26, 2025 - Aug 23, 2025

Description

With the return of Summer Streets, the City’s signature soundtrack of honking horns and rushing traffic will quiet in parts of all five boroughs so its residents and visitors can walk, bike, run, play and enjoy special programming from 7am to 3pm on designated Saturdays. This year, in honor of NYC's 400th anniversary, the City will offer 400 blocks of fun and live entertainment.

Here are the announced streets on their designated dates:

July 26

  • Vernon Boulevard in Queens from 44th Drive to 30th Drive

  • Broadway in Staten Island from Richmond Terrace to Clove Road

August 2, 9 and 16 (all Manhattan)

  • Lafayette Street/Fourth Avenue/Park Avenue from Brooklyn Bridge (Manhattan side) to 109th Street

  • 109th Street between Park and Fifth Avenues

  • Central Park North from Fifth Avenue to Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard

  • Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard from 110th Street to 125th Street

August 23

  • Brooklyn’s Eastern Parkway will clear from Grand Army Plaza to Buffalo Avenue

  • The Bronx’s Grand Concourse will be open from East Tremont Avenue to Mosholu Parkway
