Bronx Children's Museum

Description

From 2011 to 2022, the Bronx Children’s Museum operated out of a purple bus, traveling around the borough showcasing its exhibitions on wheels. But after years of planning and raising money, it finally has a place to call home. The 12,800-square-foot space—just steps from Yankee Stadium, in a former powerhouse facility—takes the purple bus’ exhibitions and expands upon them with interactive exhibitions, a learning lab and studio space for artists and community gatherings.
