Henrietta Hudson

Description

With few lesbian bars left, Henrietta Hudson stands as an unofficial NYC landmark. The venue opened in 1991 and instantly became a safe haven and party spot. Its long history is less of a draw for patrons than the no-fuss vibe: drinks are relatively cheap, the jukebox can always be playing your song, and there’s a pool table in the back and a roster of great DJs in front. Before midnight, it can feel like a chill night at the friendly neighborhood watering hole. Otherwise, expect crowds and a club vibe.
