Huddlestone Arch

Description

A 10-foot-tall, 22-foot-wide arch made of enormous slabs of uncut boulders, Huddlestone Arch is considered by many to be the most picturesque of all the park's rustic arches. But that's not the only thing that draws visitors to this architectural marvel located in the Ravine area: the arch is famously held together by gravity alone, without mortar, metal or any other kind of support structure—and has been since 1866.
