Description
Inspired by France’s well-known queen Marie Antoinette, hidden craft cocktail bar Le Boudoir takes drink and decor inspiration from this infamously luxurious lady. The space features cushy red velvet banquettes, gilded mirrors and antique sconces in a subterranean brick-lined, cellar. Enter through a hidden bookshelf door inside French bistro Chez Moi at 135 Atlantic Avenue near Henry Street. Sip on novelty cocktails like Guillotine (scotch, mezcal, banane, and honey) or Axel von Fersen (applejack, bourbon, sesame, curry, black caraway), and nosh on a selection of pâtés, frites and macarons.
